They say the first step is always the hardest, and this week proved it. Starting my academic journey as a 1st-year Computer Science student has been an eye-opening experience. As someone who has no prior background in CS, every lecture feels like entering a new dimension. I find myself leaning in, trying to catch every detail, and making sure I build a solid foundation from day one. Beyond the academics, the change in surrounding has been significant; being miles away from home has forced me to grow up fast. The difference between school and university learning is really hit me hard. It’s a completely different world! I’ve realized that university isn't just about studying; it’s about learning how to study a whole new system of independence.
